"Service" refers to our care programs, including Assisted Living Suites, the Day Care and Activity Program, and the Rehabilitation and Recovery Stay, as well as our website at https://velveon.info. "User," "you," and "your" refer to any individual who accesses our website or engages with our services.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of our website and services. You must be at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use our services.

3. Service Description

Velvet Compass provides elderly care services including residential assisted living, daytime care and activity programs, and short-term rehabilitation stays. Services are available to residents of legal age within the Bangkok metropolitan area and surrounding provinces. Specific service terms, including scope, pricing, and duration, are outlined in individual service agreements provided upon enrollment.

4. User Responsibilities

Users of our website agree to provide accurate information when completing forms, to use the site only for lawful purposes, and to refrain from any activity that could disrupt the functioning of the website. Family members and legal guardians enrolling a resident in our care programs are responsible for providing complete and accurate health and personal information to support safe and appropriate care delivery.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design elements — is the property of Velvet Compass or its content providers and is protected under Thai copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or modify any content without written permission. You are granted a limited, non-transferable right to view and use the website for personal, non-commercial purposes only.

6. Payment Terms

Fees for our care services are quoted in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in advance according to the billing cycle outlined in your service agreement. Accepted payment methods are detailed at the time of enrollment. Fees cover the services specified in your agreement and are subject to change with 30 days' written notice. Refund eligibility and procedures are specified in individual service contracts.

7. Service-Specific Terms

For Assisted Living Suites, the monthly fee includes accommodation, meals, housekeeping, wellness checks, and access to activities. Personal items brought into the suite remain the responsibility of the resident and family. For the Day Care Program, enrollment may be on a full-week or selected-day basis. Transport assistance, where available, is subject to scheduling and location constraints. For Rehabilitation and Recovery Stays, the duration and care plan are developed collaboratively with the resident's medical team. Extensions are subject to availability and must be agreed upon in writing.

8. Disclaimers

Our services are provided with professional care and attention, but we do not make representations regarding specific health outcomes. The information on our website is provided for general informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice. We encourage families to consult with their healthcare providers when making care decisions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Thai law, Velvet Compass shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our website or services. Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific service in question during the relevant billing period. This limitation does not apply where liability cannot be limited by law.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Velvet Compass, its directors, staff, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your misuse of our website or breach of these Terms & Conditions.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement in accordance with the notice period specified in the individual contract. In general, a minimum of 30 days' written notice is required for termination of ongoing services. Upon termination, any outstanding fees remain payable, and the resident's personal belongings must be collected within a reasonable timeframe.

12. Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to attempt informal resolution through direct discussion before pursuing formal legal action. Any legal proceedings shall be conducted under the jurisdiction of the courts of Bangkok, Thailand.

13. General Provisions

These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Velvet Compass regarding your use of our website and services. If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in effect. Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver of that right. We may assign our rights and obligations under these terms without restriction.

14. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
